| it's been a long time... really the only news i have is that dan and i bought a house!!! we're still in the cleveland area. it's an older house, but has a ton of nice features. we are already finding owning a home is a lot of work -- lots to clean, lots to fix -- but we are enjoying it.
other than that, everything is pretty much the same. work, church, friends. the kids i work with were on spring break a couple weeks ago, so i took some time off, as well as dan, and he and i went on a mini road trip to pittsburgh! we went to IKEA the furniture store, which was very cool. we also stopped for a surprise visit to betsy and beau, which was fun! nothing else exciting really is going on. just enjoying life as usual, or trying anyway! :)

| well the holidays have come and gone, just like that...
dan and i enjoyed Christmas, spent a lot of time with family which was wonderful. we also got some fun presents :)
we spent new year's eve with 2 couples from church; went out to dinner and to one couple's house to hang out. nothing extremely exciting, but fun.
i have been "off" from work (i don't get it off, but it's hard to work with the kids out of school, so we take vacation days etc), so i have been meeting up with friends and relaxing which was been great. it's going to be hard to go back to working!!!
and... tomorrow i'm getting my wisdom teeth out!!!!  i'm trying to be positive, and concentrate on the fact that it will be a nice excuse to just sit around and watch tv... i borrowed 2 seasons of friends dvd's from a friend, and 8 movies from the library, so i think i'll be set!

today is the big game!!! i was just thinking of when the osu vs
michigan game was on last year, and dan and i went to dave's to watch
it... but i had to take a laptop to work on a paper for school.
makes me soooo glad i am done!!!! 
not much of anything is new. work work work of course, plus fun
when we can fit it in! i'm glad thanksgiving is next week...
family, friends, good food, and of course a short work week!

| today
is five years from when dan and i decided we were serious enough about
each other to start an "official" relationship!!!! it's amazing
to me where we have come in these five years...

i realize it's been over a month since i posted on here... so i'll try
to quickly run down what i've been up to (in case anyone reads this and
really cares! :) )
~the women's retreat i went on
was really great. one thing that sticks in my mind from it is
part of a quote by c.s. lewis that i can't really fully remember, but
basically it says that God makes us to be masterpieces, but when we
don't want to or don't think we can live up to that, it's like a
masterpiece painting asking to be a small sketch... basically,
sometimes i just want a job where i don't have to think that that's
easier than mine, but i know God has made me for big things, so why
would i want less? i am striving to be the masterpiece God made
me to be!
~speaking of work... it's
keeping me very busy. but lately, especially this week, i've been
enjoying it. which i feel is such a blessing from
God. i went to being very unsure if i wanted to stay in this
position, to enjoying what i do. God's grace is definately on me.
~we became official members of
our church, the vineyard! which is exciting to me, b/c i just
keep feeling more and more blessed to be there. i'm excited for
how we will grow there, and the friends we've made there. and how
God will use us!
~i
got to go to westerville one weekend, when dan was in ocean city with
casey. so i got to spend some good time with my girls... and i
have to say congrats to shannon and jeremy for getting engaged last
night!!!!
~my mom and brother were in the
cleveland area last week doing college visits for my brother, so they
stayed overnight with us. how weird to host your own mom!
but it was fun... even though our apartment was (and still is!) a mess!
not too much else has been
going on. dan and i are both very busy with work, church, and
friends, and trying to relax somewhere in there. i'd love to hear
how everyone on here is doing!!
